World Summit 2020: Africa renews Continental Repertoire

As the new decade begins, there are renewed frontiers by Africans, her leaders, critical stakeholders and Africa’s intervention Organizations/Agencies towards realigning the continent to the global stage to generate multifaceted opportunities for accelerated growth.

At the ongoing World Summit 2020 in Seoul, South Korea, organized by the Universal Peace Federation, Africa is effectively represented and her agenda is currently championed by a retinue of experienced leaders and other key industry stakeholders.

Currently, over 178 World Leaders, 7000 delegates from 170 Countries are in Seoul, South Korea addressing Global issues and proffering solutions to emerging challenges with a view to achieving global goals.

Nigerian leaders and stakeholders in attendance include Former President Olusegun Obasanjo, GCFR, Former President of Nigeria and Chairman, International Summit Council for Peace ~Africa(ISCP~Africa), Dr. Goodluck Jonathan, GCFR, diplomats, security experts among others.

Also in attendance is Amb. Simeon Uwa, – Executive Secretary/Administrator of the International Summit Council for Peace – Africa, other diplomats from Nigeria and other continents.

Dr. Goodluck Jonathan, President, Federal Republic of Nigeria (2010-2015) is a keynote speaker at the ongoing World Summit 2020 on Peace, Security and Human Development. In his keynote remarks at the World Summit, Former President Jonathan observed, “The peace that the world needs is not in our armoury and sophisticated nuclear sites but in our hearts. Let’s reach out to the recesses of our hearts and act always in love to save our people”.

On the other hand, Amb. Simeon Uwa, Executive Secretary/Administrator of ISCP-Africa is a session panel discussant and spoke on the strategies of ISCP~Africa towards building a peaceful and prosperous Africa centered on universal values.

Former United Nations Secretary-General, Ban Ki-Moon, among other world leaders also delivered keynote addresses.

The World Summit 2020 is aimed at addressing emerging issues including Peace, Security, Human Development, Interdependence, Mutual Prosperity, Universal Values among others.
