An emerging Africa: A Concord resolve at the World Summit

At the just concluded World Summit in Seoul South Korea, African leaders (former and current ones) and critical stakeholders unanimously resolved today to advance conversations on every inter and intra collaborations that will facilitate the emergence of an ideal Africa capable of competing favorably with other developed continents.

It is worthy to note that Africa has many intervention organizations aimed at championing her ideals and consequent quantum of deliverables. Significantly, most of the issues that necessitated their original formation have been significantly achieved while some teething issues have also emerged due to the effects of globalization.

Consequently, the birth of the International Summit Council for Peace ~ Africa (ISCP~Africa) is therefore not only “a child of circumstance” but an intentional construct by the current and former leaders of the African decent to realign the continent for competitive advantage in the emerging world.

Today the International Summit Council for Peace ~ Africa, rounds off her concurrent sessions at the World Summit 2020. While we anticipate the deliverables of the accord reached at the Summit, it is worthy to say that AFRICA HAS NOT HAD IT SO GOOD. The leaders have resolved that Indeed, “Africa has come of Age” and
“Investments to Africa Must be targeted”.

The African concurrent session at the World Summit was championed by ISCP~Africa. Present at the African session includes Former and Current Presidents of African countries. Those from Nigeria includes Former President Olusegun Obasanjo, Former President Goodluck Jonathan & Chairman of ISCP~Africa, Nigerian Ministers of Police /Women Affairs – Muhammad Digyadi and Pauline Talen respectively. The Executive Secretary of ISCP~Africa- Amb. Simeon Uwa, other diplomats and industry experts also joined the session.

The World Summit 2020 was organized by Universal Peace Federation with 7,000 participants from 171 nations inc. 100 former and current Presidents, Members of the diplomatic corp, Civil Society Groups, influential religious, academic and business leaders were also in attendance among others.

The newly appointed Executive Secretary/Administrator of International Summit Council for Peace ~Africa, Amb. Simeon Uwa from Oruk Anam LGA and the Vice Chancellor Of University Of Uyo, Prof. Enefiok Essien, SAN from Ibiono Ibom LGA are the two Akwa Ibom sons at the World Summit.

Truly, this is Africa’s decade!
